sommerpause • summer break

English below

this is the first time for me to do this, but the circumstances require it. there will be no woman of the week for the following four weeks; i’m hoping to be able to squeeze in the odd post for other categories spontaneously.
the circumstances also require me to reassess the frequency and/or the amount of work i put into this blog. i surely wish i could stay on the weekly schedule and invest the two hours, more or less, every week. in actuality it appears though that i will have to reduce the postings to once every two weeks, maybe even once a month only – and to dial down the research for my choice drastically. to go for random hits or follow requests from the audience instead of personal sympathy/interest.
i’m not happy about this, but my professional plans in combination with my basic disposition necessitate a settong of priorities. if possible, this is only a temporary solution; we will see what the following year will bring.
expressions of sadness and cheering are encouraged.
